Positioned on Richmond Hill, Gloucester House is an Edwardian Grade I Listed townhouse that involved complete refurbishment to the main house, restoration to the front facade and comprehensive basement construction to provide staff accommodation, plant and utility rooms, stores and wine cellars. The project included extensive landscaping incorporating water features and a large open air swimming pool with pool house. The main house had a traditional feel, which was complemented by a contemporary design. The refurbishment, carried out in consultation with English Heritage and the Local Conservation, was awarded a Commendation from The Richmond Society.
